Deakin University Melbourne City Centre, the University's Melbourne city premises, launched in January 2011. The Centre is located on Level 3, 550 Bourke Street, Melbourne (the Deloitte Building) and is managed by DeakinPrime. DeakinPrime is located in the same premises, on Level 4.
Deakin University Melbourne City Centre provides a high quality, technology rich meeting and office environment and has been established to offer an important means for the University to facilitate partnerships with industry, governments, professional associations and other educational providers, both nationally and internationally. It optimises its Melbourne central business district location and builds an integrated network with the life of the surrounding city.
The primary purpose of the Melbourne City Centre is to provide a high quality, technology rich meeting and office environment to enable:
- Important University profiling, liaison, engagement, development and alumni activities;
- Industry-based engagement, consulting and research initiatives with employers, government and the professions;
- Development and delivery of corporate education and professional development for professional groups.
The facility has the capacity to operate for breakfast meetings through to evening functions, Monday to Friday. Saturday bookings are available on request. We are closed Victorian public holidays.
Bookings are essential for all meetings, hot desk and hot office bookings.
