Extension of time
University Certificate of Management and Diploma of Management awards only. If you need a little more time to finish an assignment please contact your facilitator to discuss your options. Your facilitator can grant you a one-week extension for the submission of assignments. For periods longer than a week you must call DeakinPrime’s Higher Education Administrator on 03 9918 9000 to apply for approval. You must provide the following details:
- Your name and Student ID number
- The unit you are enrolled in e.g. MDM101, and the study period
- Your reason for seeking an extension
- Your proposed new assignment submission date
Please note that this process is only applicable for assignment extensions which fall within your original study period. You will be advised of the outcome via e-mail and your facilitator will also be informed of any new assignment dates. You must apply for an extension to the assignment submission date prior to the date it is due.
