About the Program

The Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) is an award program designed to teach participants how to generate an income from diverse lending portfolios, including residential, commercial, plant and equipment loans. It also provides other complementary skills such as developing, marketing and managing a business.

As an unregulated industry, mortgage broking practitioners have operated with little consistency or benchmarking. Industry feedback indicates that for consumers and peers to view mortgage & finance brokers as credible and professional advisers, nationally benchmarked education and training should be delivered at a Diploma level.

The Diploma has been developed by experts and leaders currently working in the finance/mortgage broking industry and is nationally recognised and accredited. The program material has been developed to enable finance brokers to become independent relationship managers.

The Diploma is fully endorsed by the Finance Brokers Association of Australia and is among the highest standard of education currently available to brokers, setting the professional benchmark for the industry.

DeakinPrime is the natural partner of the FBAA in designing and delivering this program, as they are renowned as an educational provider to the finance industry, with numerous programs and services supporting banking, accounting, finanical planning, finance broking/mortgage broking, stock broking, and property investment.
